The Mbenga people, or ''Bambenga'', are the western pygmies of Cameroon and Gabon: the *Aka (Babenzélé, Basese, Bayaka, Nzari), *Baka (Bebayaka, Bibaya), *Gyele, *Kola (Koya), and *Bongo.
